“Adaptive reuse is my passion. Reviving an old property, embracing its unique character with quality workmanship and enhancing it with sensible, efficient, functional design affords myriad benefits - from aesthetics and acoustics, to the reuse of durable materials not relegated to a landfill. Adding an adaptive reuse refrain in keeping with a property’s original passage, lends a timeless grace to a space, and working directly with fine artists and craftsmen affords creative inspiration at every turn. Lynden Gallery is located in a renovated Fire Hall - a loft above the gallery is our residence. Life under one roof allows for greater attention to client and family alike, and supports my passion for Downtown revitalization.
Clemens enjoys “cooking dinner for a well-rounded table of interesting people, watching a movie that makes me think, live music from the full rich sound of the symphony to lively gypsy jazz, a truly memorable glass of wine, reading the Sunday New York Times at Mount Gretna Lake, perusing a library of books and keeping several titles going at once on my nightstand, taking the train Penn Station in New York City and walking up the steps to Seventh Avenue, the beat of the ocean at my feet, long road trips alone or in good company, exploring museums and culture, searching out the best skinny latte’, and finding ways to give back in this life for all I’ve been given.” Crafting her life around raising four children she’s learned first hand how to “challenge your assumptions…live by design.” L.
